How to Transcribe WhatsApp Voice Notes on iOS

Setting Up the Shortcut

1. Install the Shortcut: Tap the "Get Shortcut" button on our homepage.
2. Add to Library: Confirm the installation in your Shortcuts app.
3. Permissions: Allow the shortcut to access Speech Recognition when prompted.

How to Use It

Using the transcriber is incredibly simple and integrates directly with WhatsApp:

1. Open a WhatsApp chat with a voice note.
2. Long press the voice note you want to transcribe.
3. Select Forward or Share from the menu.
4. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow) in the bottom right corner.
5. Select "Transcribe Voice Note" from the share sheet.

Within seconds, you'll see a pop-up with the transcribed text!

Tips for Best Results

• Clear Audio: The clearer the audio, the better the transcription.
• Language Support: The shortcut automatically detects the language, but works best with major languages like English, Spanish, French, etc.
